Basic needs for hamsters are listed bellow:
1: Proper cage
2: Water bottle/ bowl (a water bottle is much better)
3: Healthy diet (Pellets ,veggies, treats such as fruits or seeds, protein, e.t.c)
4: Dust-free bedding
5: Hideouts
6: Proper wheel
7: Toys (such as chew toys, tunnels, ...)
Other than these, you will need to consider spot-cleaning the cage everyday, and a deep cleaning (changing the bedding), about every month. Always make sure the cage is clean to avoid illnesses.
